Construction of Peqin hydropower plant

The concession contract was concluded between the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy and the companies Teqja International sh.a., Global Construction sh.a., Spartan Security shpk and HEC Peqin shpk.
The object of the contract is: financing, design, construction, commissioning, administration, maintenance of the Peqin hydropower plant located in Peqin, Elbasan region, and uses the irrigation canal Peqin - Kavaja, with work on the Shkumbin River, with the dam Cengelaj. At the end of the concession period, the facilities will be transferred to the Contracting Authority.
