Construction of Qarr and Kaltanj hydropower plants

The concession contract was concluded between the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy and the companies Favina shpk.
The object of the contract is: financing, design, construction, commissioning, administration, maintenance of Qarr and Kaltanj hydropower plants along the Osum River, Korça district. At the end of the concession period, the facilities will be transferred to the Contracting Authority.

The company was created specifically to build the hydropower plant under the concession contract. The object of the company's activity is: construction, operation and transfer of hydropower plants "Qarr" and "Kaltanja" to the Contracting Authority, which includes financing, construction, commissioning, production, supply, transmission, distribution, export and sale of electricity according to BOT concession contract. It was established on 29.04.2013. Its capital is 200'000'000 ALL.
