Construction of Selishte hydropower plant

The concession contract was concluded between the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy and the company IRZ shpk.
The object of the contract is: financing, design, construction, commissioning, administration, maintenance of Selishte hydropower plant in Selishte commune, Dibër district. At the end of the concession period, the facilities will be transferred to the Contracting Authority. The contract is in the form of BOT (construction, operation and transfer of ownership and operation at the end of the concession contract to the Contracting Authority).
The Concessionaire will take over the existing site and facility and may add to or expand it. The Concessionaire has the right to the peaceful enjoyment of the square which means that there should be no irregular interference by the Contracting Authority or any other state authority. At the end of the concession period, the concessionaire must return the use of the site to the Authority, transfer ownership of the hydropower plant and existing existing facilities.

The company was established on 05.07.2008, with a share capital of 6'600'000, ALL. The company was created specifically to implement the concession contract. Its head office is at the address: Machinery Hall, Selishte Hydropower Plant in Përroin e Madh, Selishte, Dibër.
