Construction of hydropower plants Fterra and Fterra 1

Concession contract in the form of BOT (construction, operation, transfer) for the construction of hydropower plants Fterrë and Fterrë 1. The concessionaire will use the underground resources of Fterrë, Izvor and Gjezhdanica, Saranda district.
The contract was concluded between the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy and the companies Hydro Valbona shpk, Anonymous Kakavija sh.a and Tirana International Development shpk.
At the end of the concession period, the company will return the object to the Contracting Authority. The duration of the concession is 35 years.
