Construction of landfill, incinerator and rehabilitation of existing landfills in Tirana and electricity generation

The concession contract was concluded between the Ministry of Environment and the company Integrated Energy BV SPV shpk.
The object of the contract is: financing, design, rehabilitation, construction, commissioning, administration, operation and maintenance of works and additional works for the waste of the Tirana region, as well as the production of electricity. At the end of the concession period, the concessionaire will transfer the entire landfill to the Contracting Authority. The Contracting Authority itself would transfer the landfill and other assets built to the Municipality of Tirana, which would administer.
