Container scanning

Financing, establishment and operation of the scanning service of containers and other vehicles in the Republic of Albania and the scanning service fee.
The concession aims to provide an integrated freight scanning solution, which includes the implementation, management, maintenance and support of infrastructure and enabling components of non-penetrating X-ray scanning equipment. The concessionaire will also analyze, evaluate and locally transfer the images to the nearest customs facility.
The Contracting Authority conducted a tender where it submitted a request for proposals for this issue and Rapiscan Security INC was the company that won the tender.
The duration of the contract is 15 years. The Concessionaire may request the extension of this contract before or during the 12th year of its implementation.
